New construction of a fire / police facility in Dickinson, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire station.
As of October 22, 2020, construction has begun and all trades have been let. The new Training Center for the City of Texas City will be built on a 26 acre site in the northwest portion of the city limits. The Training Center will consist of multiple buildings, structures, and projects divided into three categories: Support & Logistics, Non-burning Training Projects, and Burning Training Projects.
