The "Riverfront Fiber-Optics Pathway Project G-2020", involves installation of approximately 5,500 LF of two-inch and three-inch diameter buried conduit including fittings, hand-holes, pipeline appurtenances, and surface restoration. The project extends from the intersection of 5th Avenue South & South 1st Street to the Joyce's Slough closure structure. The majority of the construction will be within the Mississippi River Levee. Trenchless construction will be used under one railroad crossing & all street under crossings. Open trench construction will be used along the length of the levee.
