Site work for a water / sewer project in San Francisco, California. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Folsom Area Stormwater Improvement Project Project Scope Construct a 3,500 linear foot, 12-foot internal diameter tunnel from the vicinity of Alameda/Treat Streets to the vicinity of 7th/Berry Streets. Construct nearly 12,500 linear feet of sewer pipes to divert wastewater flow towards the new tunnel infrastructure. The project is being executed via (4) separate contracts, which will be staggered: 1. Initial Small Pipe Contract, WW-719A, approximate value $7.3M, advertisement in late 2021 2. Treat/Harrison Sewer Box Contract, TBD, approximate value $67.2M, advertisement in late 2022 3. Large Pipe Contract, TBD, approximate value $19.0M, advertisement in late 2022 4. Tunneling Contract, TBD, approximate value $97M, advertisement in 2023 There are two components to the FASIP project; 1) the upstream Combined Sewer upsizing, which is being design by Public Works; and 2) the downstream stormwater tunnel bore, which is being design by a Joint Venture of Stantec and McMillen Jacobs. Per the owner, as of of January 2, 2024, this project is anticipated to advertise for bid in September 2024 and is anticipated to start construction in the spring of 2025.
