Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a medical facility in Bellerose Manor, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a 31,539-square-foot, three-story above grade medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and for asbestos abatement for a medical facility.
*This project is on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has not been established. * The project is the abatement and selective demolition of the 31,539 SF, 3-story Building 21 with partial attic and cellar on the historic Creedmoor Psychiatric Campus. Work involves asbestos abatement, demolishing lead based painted windows, universal waste disposal of electric lighting, reclaiming refrigerant and cleaning up mold and animal waste before selective demolition of utilities, interior partitions, ceilings and non-structural finishes. All windows, louvers and similar openings will be removed for abatement purposes, with temporary weather and access protection installed in place. The documents will define the work scope and the General Contractor will be responsible for hiring the qualified specialists to handle all the necessary hazmat work.
