Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Tamarac, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a 599-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

This solicitation is for an open-end contract to provide a general construction services contract for Parks Construction and Improvements for the Highway Construction and Engineering Division, Parks and Recreation Division, and other Broward County agencies. Construction services may include, but are not limited to, site development, general roadway, water and sewer utilities, electrical service, drainage facilities, small buildings and structures, playgrounds, landscaping, irrigation, site lighting, and fencing for various parks located throughout Broward County. Construction of a new one story building with restrooms, electrical/ janitor closet as well as associated site improvements within an existing park. Contractor shall provide electric service and access to water and sanitary sewer for the site and nearby structures at all times during the construction. The structure is load bearing concrete masonry (cmu) walls on a concrete slab on grade with pre-engineered wood trusses, wood roof sheathing and metal standing seam roof. Interior walls are non-bearing cmu partitions Broward County manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas. This is a continuing construction service contract for construction improvements to various Broward County parks and similar locations. New park improvements may include construction work such as site development, parking lot and roadway improvements, water and sewer utilities, small buildings, playgrounds, sport courts and site lighting. The Contract Documents such as the Project Manual, Drawings and terms and conditions have been revised from the previous contract and by submission of a bid, Vendor acknowledges and accepts the new Contract Documents. This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. Workforce One Investment Program applies to this contract. Refer to Workforce Investment Program Requirements section for additional information. In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor, Vendor shall possess one of the specified licenses, and meet the experience/qualifications, as referenced in the Special Instructions for Vendors. This solicitation includes pass-thru allowances. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. BidSync will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on final bid tabulation. Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Price. If submitting a bid bond, Vendor must submit with its response a bid bond in the form of the County's approved Bid Bond Form (link to County's Bid Bond Form is available in the Bid Bond, Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements section). Refer to the solicitation for additional information for the bid guaranty and payment and performance bonding requirements. It is the County's intent to award the contract up to the three (3) low responsive, responsible bidders on a total price bid (sum of all items) basis. Refer to Special Instructions to Vendors. Contract duration: 2 years. Contract renewal: 1 annual renewal. Prices good for: 120 days. Bid Allowance Amount: $600,000.00. Q & A deadline: May 06, 2020 5:00:00 PM EDT. The three (3) year potential estimated budget for this contract is $10,230,883. The anticipated usage is approximately $2,000,000 per contractor for the initial term
