Site work for a water / sewer project in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction and Installation of water transmission mains and installation of line stops and pipes. The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Byrd Park Zone 1N Supply Main and Inlet Valve Replacement project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to construction/installation of 20-inch through 36-inch diameter water transmission mains and demolition of existing buried gate valves, valve vaults and water mains for the Byrd Park Reservoir. Work also to include construction of precast concrete valve vaults, check valves and buried isolation valves. Pipe connections will be required to be connected to existing water mains while providing temporary support of existing utilities. Installation of line stops on 20-inch through 36-inch diameter pipe will be required. Contractor to follow all erosion and sediment control as required. Some tree removal, tree protection, site restoration and pavement restoration will be required.
