The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The scope of work to be undertaken by the Offeror under the Design -Build Contract for this Project includes, but is not limited to, all work required to design and construct the Project as outlined in Part II of this RFP and as further described in this RFP. The design, evaluation, investigation, and Project oversight work includes, but is not limited to, the following disciplines or services: (a) roadway, (b) survey, (c) right-of-way acquisition, (d) utilities (e) structures (f) demolition of structures, (g) permitting, (h) geotechnical, (i) hydraulics, (j) storm drainage and stormwater management, (k) pavement reconstruction, pavement overlay, and new pavement, (l) guardrail, (m) retaining walls, (n) traffic control devices, (o) signs, sign structures, and foundations, (p) roadway and site lighting, (q) transportation management plan (r) traffic maintenance and management during all phases of construction (s) landscaping, (t) public involvement/relations, (u) quality assurance and quality control, (v) construction engineering and inspection, and (w) overall Project management. The County's available funds for this Project is $53,328,850.00. These funds shall cover the Design-Builders costs for design, right-of-way, utility relocation, construction, Design-Build risk, QA/QC, and contract administration. The Final Completion Date for the Project shall be no later than October 31, 2023. RFP Questions Due June 30, 2021 The County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, waive informalities, advertise for new Proposals, or proceed to do the Work otherwise if it deems that the best interest of the Commonwealth would be promoted thereby.
