The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to secure prices and establish a Term Contract for Stage Rigging Inspection and Repairs for auditoriums, cafetoriums, theaters, orchestra pits, CCTV Studios, and Blackbox Theaters in high schools and school(s) of the arts. The requirements of this contract is to conduct safety inspections that include written reports, photographs as required, a plan for preventative maintenance program as well as repairs as needed. A single fixed percentage discount off manufacturer's list price is required for OEM repair parts as noted in the Bid Summary Document. All pricing must be submitted using the Hypothetical Price Sheet attached herein. Contract duration: 3 years Further, in order to protect the integrity of the award process, all questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via electronically no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, on April 15, 2020. The Purchasing Department reserves the right to reject a subcontractor who previously failed in the proper performance of an award or failed to deliver on-time contracts of a similar nature, or who is not in the position to perform this award.
