The Town of Palm Beach, Florida, is soliciting Letter of Interests for submission of Proposals from qualified Design-Build Proposers for the full restauration, design and construction of its Landmark Building that is used for Fire Department, known as North Fire Station, or Fire Station #2, located at 300 North County Road, Palm Beach FL, 33480. The approximate budget for this construction/renovation is: $6M. The proposed schedule for completion is: 12 to 14 months from Notice to Proceed. The Town intends to issue a design build RFP solicitation in very near future.Town intent to award a contract that will incorporate all preliminary planning, design, architectural drawings, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction work requirements of the Project, until the North Fire Station is completely restored, and has been inspected and accepted by the Town. The Design-Build Team shall include a full service architectural/engineering and construction firm. The selected Proposer must be able and willing to work with all the Town's representatives, to include its consultants and contracts on this Project. Consultants and contracts may include interior designers, security consultants, Owner Representative Consultant, and others. All communications regarding this solicitation shall be handled only by Town Purchasing Representatives.
