As of August 19, 2022, project was awarded to CPH, Inc but awarded amount is not available. Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palm Coast, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. The Contractorshall provide all work required including, but not limited to, labor,supervision, traffic control, materials, equipment, installation, and incidentals required. Contractor shall also provide material samples, as necessary, to ensure compliance with manufacturer's recommendations. Installation of all materials shall be in accordance with all applicable CITY standards and requirements, applicable Florida Departments of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (latest edition), manufacturer and industry preferred standards. Work assigned under this contract may include, but is not limited to, the following: Is requesting proposals from qualified vendors. This project consist of upsizing Stormwater conveyances at four (4) sites in the Quail Hollow neighborhood (K-Section) within the City of Palm Coast. Contractors will be responsible for demolition /removal of the existing Stormwater conveyances and replacing with Concrete Box Culverts (CBC's) according to site-specific construction plans; and all other incidental work necessary to provide a completed project in accordance with the contract documents. Total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion at each site is forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed," with an additional fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion Allsubmittals will be evaluated by City staff in accordance with the criteria set forth in the bid documents. It is the intent of The City to award each culvert crossing as its own stand-alone project to the corresponding lowest bid. The City reservesthe right to reject all bids/submittals, and to solicit and re-advertise for new bids, or to abandon the project in its entirety at any time during the process including, but not limited to, after the Notice of Intent to Award. All prospective Bidders are hereby instructed not to contact any member of the City of Palm Coast City Council, City Manager, or City of Palm Coaststaff members other than the noted contact person(s) regarding this bid/request at any time prior to the bid/request having been formally presented to, and voted on by, the City Council. Any such contact shall be cause for rejection of your bid/request submittal. Any questions concerning the intent, meaning and interpretations of the bid documents including the draft agreement, shall be requested in writing through the City's Procurement Portal QUESTION DEADLINE: July 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM A Bid Bond shall accompany each Bid if the Bid amount is one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater. The Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the City as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his/her Bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid closing time. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Successful Bidder and will enter into a written Agreement with the City and furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in an amount equal to the Contract Price. The Material and Workmanship Bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price as adjusted on the Final Application for Payment. The Bidder will forfeit their Bid Security if they fail to do so. All Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Allsubmittals will be evaluated by City staff in accordance with the criteria set forth in the bid documents. The City reserves the right to reject all bids/submittals, and to solicit and re-advertise for new bids, or to abandon the project in its entirety at any time during the process including, but not limited to, after the Notice of Intent to Award.
