Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to make an award to such bidder who, in the judgment of the Authority, makes the most advantageous bid. Bids are invited from qualified bidders. The work to be done under the Contract consists of all labor, equipment, materials and other facilities necessary and proper to bypass pump, video inspect and install cured-in-place pipe in gravity sewer lines and rehabilitate laterals in accordance with the specifications Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders should review the content of the Contractor Responsibility Certification Form (Document 00 4515) as well as the provisions of the Responsible Contractor Resolution also found in Document 00 4515. Bidders are required to pre-qualify prior to submitting a bid. All Pre-Bid forms shall be submitted to Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority no later than fourteen (14) days prior to when bids are due. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
