This project consists of removing approximately 790 lf of sanitary & storm sewer, 4 manholes and 3 catch basins; and installing approximately 4,884 lf of storm and/or sanitary sewer in 6", 8", 12", and/or 18" diameters including 15 manholes and 11 catch basins as indicated in the drawings and specifications. The project also includes the relocation of fences and yard barns. Questions regarding the work should be directed to the City Engineer at 740-393-9528. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid. Said guaranty may be in the form of a bid bond, bid guaranty and contract bond, a certified check or cashier's check or a letter of credit. Bid guarantees must meet the requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This is a prevailing wage project and is subject to the requirements of Ohio Department of Commerce Wage and Hour Division and Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code, The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed.
