Materials shall conform to the State of Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specifications 2019. Item 441 - Type 1 Asphalt Concrete (PG64-22) Item 441 - Type 2 Asphalt Concrete (PG64-22) Prices shall be on a per ton basis, F.O.B. at your plant and hauling to be performed by the Knox County Highway Department. Your plant location must be specified in the bid. All prices quoted for Item 441, Type 1 and 441, Type 2 will be effective for the calendar year of 2024, and based on an estimated quantity of 4000 tons for Item 441, Type 1 and based on an estimated quantity of 100 tons for Item 441, Type 2. Proposal forms may be obtained at the office ofthe Knox County Engineer, 422 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050. The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract within 15 days after the award ofthe bid. In case of failure to execute the contract as stated, the bidder will be considered to have abandoned the contract. The Knox County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
