Wellfield Security Fencing Each Bidder is required to furnish with its submission of the fully completed Bid Documents, a Bid Security in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form (Bid Guarantee and Contract and Performance Bond as provided in Section 153.57.1 of the Ohio Revised Code), must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Those Bidders that elect to submit bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the beneficiary OWNER. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract. Additionally, CONTRACTOR compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84- 9 shall be required. The Knox County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities. The Knox County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this Contract on or before a date to be specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED, be Substantially Complete within 60 consecutive calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions to the Contract and to fully complete the PROJECT within 90 consecutive calendar days after the date the Contract Time commences to run
