Anticipated start date 7/1/20. Shawnee County is soliciting sealed bids to replace the roof of Ward Cabin, 124 NW Fillmore For consideration, all bid responses must include where applicable: 1. Removal of existing cedar shake shingles 2. Inspect and replace decking as necessary and agreed upon after consultation with Project Manager (provide pricing per sheet, not to exceed $2,500.00) 3. New shake ridge caps 4. New pipe flashing 5. New rubber pipe collar 6. New metal painted brown around edges step flashing 7. Maintaining a clean work space 8. No more than 1/3 of shingles shall be removed at any time during replacement 9. Management and administration or project 10. Safety of product, equipment and worksite 11. Any and all necessary insurance Bid results will not be given over the telephone. Bid results will be posted All prices and conditions must be shown. Additions or conditions not shown on this bid will not be allowed. Shawnee County reserves the right to accept or reject any part of, or all of, any bid or proposal. All prices quoted are to be less Federal Excise Tax and Kansas Sales Tax. Failure to respond to RFQ may result in termination of future mailings.
