Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of 375 square yards of asphaltic surface removal, 2,750 square yards of asphaltic base repair, 500 tons of aggregate shouldering, 15,000 square yards of reflective crack control fabric, 2,800 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement,and other miscellaneous items of work. This is a Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) Allocation Project. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to the Town of Lyons for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. The Town Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
