Renovation of an educational facility in Johnson City, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of October 29th, 2021 this project has yet to be awarded officially at this time. Build a new building attached to Binghamton University's Pharmacy Building in Johnson City. The building is a ground up stand-alone steel framed brick façade facility for housing and caring for mice for the purpose of pharmaceutical research. This will be a single prime project with all trades working for the single prime. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Binghamton University is seeking a qualified firm to team with Binghamton University's Architect to provide engineering (MEP), structural, and fire protection design for the Pharmacy School's R&D Building at the University Health Science Park in Johnson City. It is strongly recommended that an AAALAC consultant be included in the design team. The services shall include: AAALAC compliance design review, structural, air dispersion modeling for the building exhaust, civil, electrical, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15%,Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15%,Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%. Contract term: 22 months. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
