Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Columbiana, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be performed under this contract is located within the City of Columbiana, Ohio in the following locations: along East Park Avenue from Main Street to Springfield Road; along Springfield Road from East Park Avenue to State Route 14/Heck Road; and along Heck Road from State Route 14/Springfield Road to approximately 2,000 feet west of State Route 7. The following is a description of work to be performed under this contract: improvements to approximately 1.96 miles of roadway along the aforementioned streets including but not limited to pavement planing, resurfacing, pavement repair, drainage work, installation of curb ramps, and pavement markings. Each Bidder and pertinent sub-contractor(s) must be prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation's Office of Contracts, Contractor Qualification Section at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the contract for the pertinent ODOT WT Codes. Each bidder shall be required to complete and file with their bid the enclosed Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Bond, Warranty Bond Form (Section 153.54 O.R.C.) issued by a Surety Company licensed and authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Each bid must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond in the amount of (100%) of the "Total Amount Bid" or a Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in an amount equal to (10%) of the "Total Amount Bid". Attention is called to certain Federal requirements on this project, including but not limited to Federal prevailing wage rates, a DBE goal, and domestic steel and iron product requirements. The City of Columbiana reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project.
