**As of April 5,2024 project was awarded to X-Press Underground, awarded amount is $2,463,998.15.** The Engineers Estimate is $2,502,375.00 All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed for the Lake Front Development Sanitary Sewer & Lift Station Project and addressed to Mr. Lance Willard, City Manager, at the address shown above and either hand delivered or received by mail prior to the opening date and time. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Bids from contractors inexperienced in this particular type of work will not be awarded a contract. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Columbiana County and the City of Columbiana, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services Wage and Hour Division at 614-644-2239. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Owners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
