Renovation of a municipal facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

** This project has been awarded to Summit Construction inc in the amount of $2,603,653.00. ** The work generally consists of renovating existing spaces in Building 306A. The first-floor work includes gutting the interior first floor space by demolishing existing interior partitions, ceiling, mechanical and electrical systems, etc. and constructing new office spaces, a conference room, a hall space, accessibility hardware, architectural, mechanical and electrical, communication systems and designated finishes. The second-floor work includes ceiling and floor covering replacement, repair and painting of interior walls and doors, installing air conditioning and electrical outlets and communication outlets, and associated other work per plans and specifications. Contractor is also responsible for acquiring and paying for all applicable permits. Contractor is also responsible to handle all hazardous materials in accordance with the plans, specifications and all applicable County, State and Federal laws. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $2.5 million. Due to the COVID-19 situation/incident a pre-bid meeting in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes 03D-303.5 has been waived and will not be held. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply Late submittals for this solicitation will not be reviewed by this agency. Campaign Contributions by State and County Contractors Prohibited. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract. State of Hawaii To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractors license classification(s) B .
