The work, located at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility, Butte County, California, consists of, but is not limited to vertical landfill gas well drilling, vertical landfill gas well construction, trenching and excavation for below grade landfill gas header collection piping, loading and hauling backfill materials from stockpiles, installation of vertical and horizontal landfill gas well valves, relocation of existing landfill gas valves, supplying, joining and installing HDPE pipe for above ground and below ground installation, supplying and installing landfill gas valves and fittings, supplying and installing landfill gas HDPE pipe supports, anchors and guides, supplying and installing a landfill gas condensate trap, supplying and installing CMP for road crossings, removing and disposing of existing rain tarp, and placement of a soil erosion cover and all other work as necessary to connect to the existing landfill gas collection and control system, within the limits of Module 4 all in conformance with the California Department of Transportation 2010 Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions, unless specified herein. All work shall include furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans, as described in the Special Provisions, or as directed by the Engineer. All visitors must check in at the Office located west of the entrance at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility, 1023 Neal Road, approximately 1-mile east of State Highway 99 and seven miles south of the City of Chico.
