Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center; and retail development.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the owner's building. The scope of the project includes the redevelopment of the shopping mall located on the ground floor including repairs to the ceilings, replacement the lighting and other electrical components, addition of commercial premises. The project includes the construction of new state-of-the-art premises that will be used to record segments for radio, TV or podcast. The owner will implement a series of measures, grouped under the name "Palais Boréal" aiming a "100% carbon neutral" result. In the future, the owner expects to proceed to the construction of an addition to the existing building. Scope of work is being finalized. TIMELINE: The project feasibility study has been completed by the provincial consultant and submitted to the owner. The owner will subdivide the project into construction packages and will implement the construction according to the available funds. Construction package projects will be followed if/when they move to a design stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
