Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting bids for the following: Lake Parker Regional Drainage System Phase IV This project is located in Section 10, T-28, R-24 in the Combee area of Polk County, east of the City of Lakeland. This project will consist of canal improvements along a section of the drainage outfall system between Lake Parker to the west and Saddle Creek to the east. The project area is known as the "Rodeo Section", located adjacent to the County's Combee Rodeo Park. The project consists of channel stabilization methods such as the installation of gabion baskets, rip-rap (ditch lining & bank/shore), and construction of a fabriform maintenance access ramp. All disturbed areas will need to be stabilized with sod. Bid documents and plans can be reviewed at the Procurement Division, 330 West Church Street, Room 150, Bartow, Florida. The contract time for this project is a total of 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion.
