The project is a new ground up elementary school consisting of 7 buildings totaling approximately 66,353 square feet. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to fencing, site furnishings, landscape, masonry, casework, insulation, roofing, joint sealants, doors, overhead doors, plastering, drywall, acoustical ceilings, acoustical sound panels, tiling, flooring, resinous flooring, painting, signage toilet accessories, folding partitions, wall and door protection, fire extinguisher, marker boards, lockers, food service equipment, stage curtains, athletic equipment, window shades, tensile fabric structures, fire protection, and all low voltage including PA system, intercom, paging, clock, signal controls, assistive listening system, intrusion alarm, fire alarm, and data communication system. Subcontractors with the following license classifications that intend to bid are required to be prequalified (application must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the bid date) through the district at http://www.egusd.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Prequalification-Application.pdf or http://blogs.egusd.net/measurem/contractors/prequalification/ : C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46.
