Contractor Awarded Address: Avon, NY USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $125000.00 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Emergency Gate Rehabilitation at the Knightville Dam, located in Huntington, MA. This project has the following major components. Construct a scaffolding system and containment system for the emergency gate Remove the existing paint system from all steel substructure elements and bearing points by using abrasive blasting techniques. Apply a primer and two top coats of a coating system to the steel substructure elements and bearing points. Bend back and weld a retaining plate that has pulled away from the gate. The existing coatings have high lead concentrations and will require hazardous waste disposal. This is not a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about May 14, 2020. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.beta.SAM.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238320 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million.
