Site work for a water / sewer project in La Porte, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City is soliciting bids for an the LPAWA transmission valve project according to the following specifications. For bidding purposes, the quantities are estimated and may vary during the contract term. Contract Duration 10 calendar days for regulatory operational requirements; substantial completion for clean-up and reconditioning of site 90 calendar days All bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Performance and Payment bonds, when required, shall be executed on forms furnished by the City. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount by a solvent corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by Owner pursuant to applicable law. Questions or requests for additional information are to be submitted via Electronically or to the Purchasing Division at purchasing@laportetx.gov . No requests or questions are to be asked directly of program staff outside of pre-bid conferences. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities ordered. Nothing herein will be construed as intent on the part of the City to procure any goods or services beyond those determined by the City to be necessary to meet its needs.
