Work on the project consists of, in general, the rehabilitation of approximately 22,000 linear feet of gravity sewer line and associated manholes, replacement of 24,600 linear feet of gravity sewer line and associated manholes, 70 linear feet of 16 steel casing bored in place, paving overlay and replacement, the abandonment of two (2) existing pump stations and the rehabilitation of four (4) existing pump stations including controls and associated site and electrical improvements. All work shall be completed within 300 consecutive calendar days. he OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS and to waive any informalities and award in the best interest of the City of Elba. Any contract awarded under this invitation for bids are to be funded by the USDA/Rural Development. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting contract.
