Scope includes, but is not limited to, pavement and electrical demolition of portions of the western sections of Runway 10R and Taxiways Lima and Mike at North Perry Airport (HWO). The runway and taxiways will be extended approximately 200 feet further west and a new north-south taxiway, Taxiway Alpha, will be constructed to connect them. A new run- up pad will be constructed south of Taxiway Lima. New runway/taxiway edge-lights, airfield guidance signs, junction cans, conduits, conductors, pavement striping, and sodding will also be installed. The vendor is cautioned that, although the pre-bid conference is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s) to have visited the site or to have attended the conference.
