Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of one (1) 500,000-gallon precast, prestressed concrete ground storage tank and foundation; one (1) surface water pressure reducing and flow control metering station; approximately 1,600 linear feet of 12-inch surface waterline extension from the City of Houston direct connection at Beltway 8 and Wilson Road; disinfection improvements; associated plant piping, valves, fittings, thrust blocks and pipe supports; site grading and drainage; protective coatings for all facilities; applying a cold galvanizing spray to the GST No. 1 sample tap connection; removing and replacing the safety climb on the interior ladder of GST No. 1; removing and replacing the vent screens on GST No. 1; touch-up coating the HPT Nos. 1 & 2 drain line blind flanges; hydro-mulch seeding; and all required electrical and instrumentation work; including all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a completely functional water plant facility. The project is located in Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 400 and within the City of Houstons (COH) ETJ (Harris County Key Map 375-V and 376-S). The address of the water plant site is 4801 1/2 Wilson Rd., Humble, Texas 77396. The bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashiers check or bid bond payable to the Owner. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, unless you are a publicly traded entity or a wholly owned subsidiary of same, you must be able to provide Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 400 (the District) with printed, executed and notarized copies of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295). Failure to do so will result in the Owners inability to execute the contract. To complete the disclosure of interested parties form, or for further information, please visit the Texas Ethics Commission The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 calendar days from the date bids are open.
