Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Work covered by these Technical Specifications is entitled Water, Sanitary, and Drainage Facilities in Marvida Section 1 for Cypress 856, Ltd. on behalf of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 165, Harris County, Texas. Wanted to let everyone know that there seems to be an error in how CivCast is accounting for Iem E14 being a LS Item at -$10,000. We tried to adjust this to not have the bids read $10,000 less than intended but it seems that our correction just caused more confusion. As is part of our QA/QC, we will review every bid and provide the correct results based on our review. We will release the bid tab upon our review and confirm the bid results appropriately.
