Full width cartway milling (approx 9,910 SY) Installation of 9.5mm Superpave leveling and wearing course (approx 1,460 TN total) on various streets within Township. Note - Contractor must be PADOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor, and PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply; refer specifications. All questions must be submitted thru PennBid for response. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via PennBid) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor for all bid items and shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Copy of prequalification must be included with all bids. All information must be submitted via the PennBid Program. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance, Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price; with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications.
