Currently, the Regional Commercial zoned properties just east of Interstate Highway 35 along 13th Street are served only by a City of Ames water main. In order to facilitate the development of this area as envisioned in the City’s Land Use Policy Plan, a sanitary sewer main will be extended from the intersection of South Dayton and East 13th Street east under I-35. The project is included in the city's 2021-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 20, 2021, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
