For Spargursville Road Slip Repair Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Only bids submitted by "Contractors prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bureau of Contractor Qualifications" will be accepted on this project. In order for a contractor to be awarded a construction contract on this project, a current "Certificate of Qualification" must be submitted prior to award of the contract showing qualification to perform the type of work included in this construction contract. The amount of the Certificate of Qualification must exceed the amount of the bid on this project. Any bid submitted by a contractor who is not prequalified as required herein will be rejected. The completion date for the project will be no later than October 02, 2020. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Ross County, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Bureau. All bidders must conform to Section 153.59 of the Revised Code concerning discrimination. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities.
