The Camel Creek Bridge and north 5 to east 56 connector over Carmel Creek Bridge consist of continuous 11 span reinforced concrete diaphragm abutments and column bents supported on cast-in-steel shell concrete driven piles. The project proposes to extend the Carmel Valley bike path to connect the segment along El Camino Real on the east of I-5 to the segment along Sorrento Valley Road on the west of I-5.
