Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Village of Glen Ellyn that proposals for construction engineering services for the Crescent Boulevard Improvement Project in the Village of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, will be received by the Glen Ellyn Public Works Department The Village emphasizes that this is a Federal Aid Project which has qualified for Surface Transportation Program Funding for construction of the proposed improvements as well as construction engineering services. All services to be rendered for the assignment shall be in full conformance with standard requirements and procedures for Federal Aid projects. The project involves roadway improvements along Crescent Boulevard between Park Row and the Village's eastern limit (approximately 1.3 miles). The construction contract scope of work consists of various storm sewer and drainage structure rehabilitation and improvements; sidewalk and driveway removal and replacement; hot mix asphalt pavement removal and replacement; sodding; and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements. The Village is only accepting electronic proposals for this RFP. The design of this project was completed by the owner's in-house design professional. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
