Site work and paving for a civil project in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Highway 270, Section 5 Widening, Fleetwood Drive to Highway 227, Sewer and Water Utility Relocations, Utilities Department, City of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The City of Hot Springs will receive bids for relocation of approximately 10,449 linear feet of 12 ductile iron, 2,256 linear of 6 ductile and 3,735 linear feet 2 PVC water lines, 100 linear feet of 6 and 14 water casing by trench and associated items, relocation of 2,292 linear feet of 8, 10 and 12 gravity sewer line, 6-12 feet depth, 128 linear feet of 8 DI sewer in 16 casing by trench, 220 linear feet of 16 and 18 sewer casing by trench, 133 vertical feet of manholes, and associated items, eleven highway bores with 6, 14, 16 or 20 casing for sewer and water, 3,450 linear feet of pavement cut and replacement for sewer and water and 14,230 linear feet of seeding. A performance and payment bond written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas, in the amount of the contract, will be required on all contracts in excess of $20,000. Bid security in the form of a cashier's check only (relative to other types of checks), drawn on a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, or a corporate bid bond in favor of the City of Hot Springs and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required on bids exceeding $20,000 and must be submitted with the bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days of opening. Bidders must provide with their bid a certificate regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, as applicable. The contractor must comply with all laws, regulations, directives and rules. The contracting party shall not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability. Qualified (conditional) bids will be subject to rejection. Contractors must comply with City Codes as applicable. Any sub-contractors utilized are subject to City approval. Bidders are expected to inspect the work site and inform themselves of local conditions. Bidders must be prepared, if requested by the City, to submit additional information such that the City can determine responsibleness. The City encourages the participation of disadvantaged, small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, either as contractor or subcontractor. Certification by a government agency is required for recognition as such an entity. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities and to, in the opinion of the City accept the bid that is in the City's best interest.
