Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done under this contract includes: Sealing of cracks and joints on various arterial, collector, and residential streets including 40,000 LB of Crack Seal (Up to 1" Width)(ASTM D6690, Type II). All questions, comments, and requested clarifications shall be submitted in writing to the Project Manager, Steven Lashley at slashley@lawrenceks.org no later than May 21, 2020. Any questions received after May 21, 2020 may not be answered Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check on a solvent bank, or bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid which may be made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Bid bonds or check will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. The bid bond or check of the successful bidder will be returned when satisfactory bonds have been furnished. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
