Site work for a civil project in Oregon City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project includes: o Perform all clearing, grubbing, tree removal, and site preparation. o Removal of structures and obstructions and earthwork operations, including 535 CY of unclassified excavation with some anticipated rock. o Installation of erosion and sediment control and site stabilization measures. o Dewater channel using bypass pipe. o Removal and replacement of asphalt pad. o Install new concrete sedimentation manhole and new concrete storm pipe at upstream end of channel. o Replace existing steel storm pipe with new Class 52 ductile iron storm pipe and stabilize outlet to channel. o Construct forebay, rock drop structures, and buried boulder grade control structures. o Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids, if it is in the public interest to do so
