Q & A deadline: May 15, 2020 1:00:00 PM CDT This project includes the replacement and rehabilitation of 2,010 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer main of various diameters. The new main will consist of 12-inch sanitary sewer pipe that will be installed using both trenchless technology and open cut replacement. Also included is the rehabilitation and replacement of existing manholes identified in the plans. This project is considered an emergency due to the advanced dilapidated state of the existing concrete pipe constructed in the early 1900s. The work on this project will include, but not limited to the following major items and appurtenances: (1) Sewer Main and Manhole Replacement and Rehabilitation (2) Connection to Existing Manholes (3) Activation of New Mains and Appurtenances (4) Street and Driveway Repair (5) Right-of-Way Restoration and Cleanup (6) Provide As-Built Plans with GPS As Built Survey (7) Abandon Existing Mains A pre-bid conference will NOT be held for this project. Work on this project shall be completed on or before the total contract time of SIXTY (60) CALENDAR DAYS, counted from the start date obtained verbally from OCWUT and specified in the work order. The Contractor must begin work immediately. The Trust reserves the right to reject any part or parts of the bid or reject all bids.
