The work for these sealed bids is as follows: Separate bids shall be issued for each of the following categories and a minimum of one (1) mile in each category should be anticipated, except as noted. Actual roads and mileage to be designated by the Town Board. 1. Hot Mix Asphaltic Paving - This work to consist of a 2-inch overlay, 22- feet wide, with proper center crown maintained and /or constructed. Bid to be per ton of material laid. 2. Cold Mix Asphaltic Paving - This work to consist of a 2-inch overlay, 22 feet wide, with proper center crown maintained and/or constructed. Bid to be per ton of material - laid. 3. Crack filling - Bids to rout and seal cracks and alleygating on various town roads. 4. Coated Chip Seal - This work to consist of price per mile of roadway, 22 feet wide. Coat ed cover aggregate per ton, and cut back asphalt price per gallon. Bid to be for all materials - laid. 5. Slurry Seal - This work to consist of price per mile of roadway, 22 feet wide. Bid to be per ton of material - laid. 6. Shouldering - This work to consist of constructing shoulders 1- foot to 2 feet in width, watered and compacted. Include cost of 3/8 inch traffic bond, and recycled asphalt. Price per ton of material - laid and finished to include labor. 7. Ditch and Shoulder repair - This work to consist of ditch clean-out and hauling spoil up to 6 miles one way. Hourly price for back hoe or grade-all hoe and trucking. Actual amount to be determined by the Town Board. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, or to accept such bid or bids as will, in their opinion, be most advantageous to the Town of Barton.
