Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,116-square-foot educational facility.
The project includes the interior renovation of an existing 1116 SF classroom for use as a Sonography training space on the 2nd floor of Building A, and the renovation of a current 2637 SF nursing training lab on the 4th floor of building A for use as an EDT Training space. Scope in the Sonography space includes selective demolition, new casework, new sink, and new power and data. Scope in the EDT space includes selective demolition, a replacement sink, addition of an eyewash, casework replacement and addition of an accordian-style operable partition. Trades: sheetrock, painting, millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, operational partition In which at least fifty-one percent (51%) is owned by one or more minority persons, or in the case of a corporation, in which at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the stock is owned by one or more minority persons or socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority business in total value of work for each State building project.
