Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a three-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. The project involves construction of a new 3-story building. Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award, and a Maintenance Bond for the 100% of the new roof value. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall provide a copy of their WV Contractor's license and include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. See supplemental instructions to bidders for more information. The Owner will conduct this prebid meeting in compliance with social distancing guidelines and current COVID 19 protocols. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding process.
