The Subrecipient shall be responsible for implementing the Oakwilde Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase 8 Project during the term of this Agreement. The scope of the Project is sanitary sewer rehabilitation of approximately 2,300 linear feet of 6-inch and approximately 7,400 linear feet of 8-inch existing sanitary sewer. Approximately 135 existing sanitary service connections will be replaced from the sewer main to the edge of easement. Manhole rehabilitation includes wall lining and bench repair of approximately 280 vertical feet. A total of 20 manholes will be installed to replace existing clean-outs. Rehabilitation work is located in the Oakwilde Service Area, in Northeast Harris County (Key Map No. 413-R & 414-N). Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All qualified bidders will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375, and Supplemental in Department of Labor regulations 41 CFR part 60 Qualified Minority, Women and Disadvantaged, and Business Enterprise (M/W/DBE) firms are invited to participate in the bidding process. Bid security, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, and Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter
