A timeline for award has not yet been established.* Scope of work is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for the phased renovation of approximately 1,600 square feet of inpatient nuclear medicine imaging space in the basement north wing of the University Hospital Downtown Campus. Project area includes two procedure rooms and a mechanical room, under Article 28 under the NYS Department of Health. Work to include, but is not limited to, selective demolition, removal of hazardous materials, new casework, finishes (ceilings, flooring, and paint), new electrical devices, light fixtures, renovated and new environmental systems (HVAC) and controls, plumbing, hand-washing sink, fire protection system and the coordination with new imaging equipment installation and removal. Removal and installation of imagining equipment by others to be coordinated throughout construction. The subject of the email shall be the name of the bidder, the title of the project and the project number. If you are delivering the bid in person bidders are asked to stay in their vehicle to finalize their proposals. Bidders wishing to access the building must be at the main entrance to the building between 1:25 pm and 1:45 pm, and those bidders arriving after 1:45 pm are not assured entry into the building. Only one person from each bidder will be allowed in the bid opening room.
