Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Central Point, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bidders must be prequalified in order to be eligible for award. Pre-qualification may be with the City of Central Point, City of Medford or the Oregon Department of Transportation. If the bidder is disqualified in any of these jurisdictions, the bidder will be ineligible for this contract. Award of contract will not be final until the later of: 1) three business days after the City of Central Point announces Notice of Intent to Award, or 2) the City of Central Point provides a written response to each timely protest, denying the protest and affirming the award. On all projects, work performed by the Contractor's own organization must be at least 30% of the awarded contract amount. COST ESTIMATE: $125,000 - $175,000 This project consists of replacement of the two Mingus Creek Culverts crossing Freeman Road, associated paving improvements and minor ADA accessibility improvements at the intersection of Freeman Road and Grand Avenue. This is a City funded project. Work shall begin no earlier than June 25th, 2020 and must be completed within 30 days after receiving Notice to Proceed. The contract is for public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279.870. This project is subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates. The City of Central Point may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by the City of Central Pont that it is in the public interest to do so. The work to be done under this contract may consist of one or more of the following in various locations as shown on the Plans within the City of Central Point in Jackson County, Oregon: 1. Implement temporary traffic control and temporary erosion control measures. 2. Replace culverts including headwalls 3. Replace sidewalk access ramps. 4. Paving of existing streets 5. Perform additional and incidental work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.
