This project consists of removal of existing ramps, curbs, and gutters, pavement removal, grinding/inlaying, installation of new ADA ramps, paving, and minor adjustments of structures and obstructions at the following locations: N 2nd and 3rd Streets from Pine Street to Hazel Street, Scenic Avenue from Highway 99 to Dobrot Way, Scenic Avenue from the Middle School Driveway to Rock Way, and North Haskell Street from Taylor Road to Pine Street. This is a City funded project. It is impractical to determine the actual damages which the Agency would sustain in the event a traffic lane is closed. Therefore, the Contractor shall pay to the Agency, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages, $750 per day, or any portion thereof, per lane, for any lane closure not in compliance with the limits listed in 00220.40(e). COST ESTIMATE: $510,000 - $550,000
