**As of August 5, 2020, project was awarded to Knight Erosion Control, Inc for $124,771.28. Furnish all the materials and perform the labor necessary for demo/haul off 132 L.F. of Gabion wall, and the installation of 132 L.F. of R-Rap wall, approximately 15 feet high. Price includes, excavation for new wall, Demo/haul off of existing failed gabion wall, installation of gravel backfill and Geo-Grid and haul off of excess materials and Furnish all the materials and perform the labor necessary for the completion of the new wall. Price includes, excavation for footing and reinforcement zone, dewatering, removal and hauling off several large trees, installation of gravel backfill and Geo-grid. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission The project will be awarded pursuant to Subchapter C of Chapter 2269, Texas Local Government Code. In determining the award of a contract, the City will consider the following "best value" factors: (1) The price; (2) The Bidder's experience and reputation; (3) The quality of the Bidder's goods or services; (4) The impact on the ability of the City of Euless to comply with rules relating to historically underutilized businesses; (5) The Bidder's safety record; (6) The Bidder's proposed personnel including their experience level; (7) Whether the Bidder's financial capability is appropriate to the size and scope of the project; (8) Performance by the Bidder under previous contracts with the City; (9) The projected time to complete the project and the ability of the Bidder to timely start and complete the project within the projected time, including the timely availability of equipment and personnel. The original and one (1) copy of completed bid proposal, must be submitted with "BID #013-20" clearly marked on the exterior of the bid package. Any addenda received shall also be noted on the exterior of the Bid package. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened. The project includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, rock riprap bank protection, one (1) gabion basket retaining wall on the western creek bank, in the channel at the Hole Number 9 golf cart path bridge at Texas Star Golf Course. Construction will begin as soon as practically possible after Notice to Proceed is issued on or about August 13, 2020.and completed by September 30, 2020.
