Renovation of a parking garage in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,603-square-foot parking garage.

Project Description: This project will be divided into three separate areas. 1. Base Bid Area: Base Bid Area: Is approximately 15,470 square feet, will consist of removing the existing roof system down to the roof deck and installing a new adhered EPDM roof system. This work shall also include repointing existing mortar joints at the parapet walls and the replacement of clay coping tiles. Refer to the drawings for additional information. 2. Alternate No. 1 Area: Is approximately 8,008 square feet, will consist of removing the existing roof system down to the roof deck and installing a new adhered EPDM roof system. This work shall also include installing secondary overflow drains, repointing mortar joints at the parapet walls, removal of existing skylights, and the replacement of clay coping tiles. Refer to the drawings for additional information. 3. Alternate No. 2 Area: Is approximately 13,603 square feet, will consist of removing the existing roof system down to the roof deck and installing a new adhered EPDM roof system This work shall also include repointing mortar joints at the parapet walls and the replacement of clay coping tiles. Refer to the drawings for additional information. As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the "Douglas County". Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.
