Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Apex, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes construction of Big Branch Pump Station (capacity of 3 million gallons per day) and approximately 6 miles of 30 inch force main that will discharge at the Western Wake Regional WRF. This infrastructure is needed to serve the Big Branch Basin, which is generally located in the triangle between I-540, US 1, and NC 55. As of December 17, 2025, this project is in permitting. An architect has been selected. Construction is expected to begin Q1 2026.
