A timeline for award has not yet been established.** For CR 100S Road and Bridge Reconstruction From Dan Jones Road to Ronald Reagan Parkway BASE BID work is for road construction from Dan Jones Road to Ronald Reagan Parkway consisting of three roundabouts, full depth HMA pavement construction, sidewalk construction, shared-use path construction, storm sewer construction, driveway construction, lighting construction, and signal construction. Base Bid work also includes Bridge Construction over Clarks Creek Tributary, construction of a Wetland Mitigation Site, construction of a low pressure sanitary sewer system, and also construction of a gravity sewer system. ALTERNATE BID A1 work is for construction of landscaping elements for the project corridor. ALTERNATE BID A2 work is for construction of landscaping elements for the project corridor excluding the proposed trees beyond the outside curb lines of the roadway. ALTERNATE BID A3 work is for construction of the shard-use path along the north side of CR 100S from 155+12 "PR-A" to 200+20 "PR-A" BID DOCUMENTS: All questions related to obtaining bid documents shall be directed to Tanner McKinney at 317-547-5580. Bidders are required to be a plan holder of record having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Bids not meeting this requirement will be deemed non-responsive. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms contained in the Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a proposal, itemized proposal, bid bond or certified check, a completely filled out Form No. 96 (Revised 2013), list of proposed suppliers and subcontractors, list of bidder experience, non-collusion affidavit, and acceptable bid security. Any Bid not accompanied by the aforementioned required items shall be deemed to be a non-responsive Bid. No Bidder may withdraw the proposal within a period of 90 days following the date set for the receiving of bids. The TOWN OF AVON reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 90 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The TOWN OF AVON further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to the Bidder providing the lowest responsible and responsive bid, all to the advantage of the TOWN OF AVON, or to reject all bids. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the TOWN OF AVON or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears of the current Treasury Department Circular 570. BONDS: A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded. RETAINAGE: The OWNER shall retain ten percent (10%) of the amount of each payment until fifty percent (50%) of the work is complete. Retainage amount being held is not to exceed five percent (5%) of the total contract amount. On completion and acceptance of a part of the Work on which the price is stated separately in the Contract Documents, payment may be made in full, including retained percentages, less authorized deductions. NON-COLLUSION AFFIDAVIT: The bidder is required to sign the Non-Collusion Affidavit as set forth in the contract documents.
